What You’ll Do

  • Gather and evaluate project requirements in collaboration with designers and developers
  • Create Strategic Roadmap and overall approach, along with the creation of key deliverables such as user stories and personas, user flows and journey maps, sitemaps and wireframes
  • Work with the PM and client to really understand the necessary requirements of the business and the solution
  • Collaborate with UX/Design/Technical teams to gain an in-depth understanding of options, constraints, considerations
  • Identify and document solutions to achieve the business problems
  • Pushes team to simplify, collecting context and information to identify the simplest approach to accomplish business goals to fit within the project constraints
  • Establishes and prioritizes the project requirements that achieve the goals set forth by digital strategist
  • Collaborates with the UX/Design/Development team to drive clarity and cross-team communication, reinforce the business priorities, make decisions / fill in gaps of the documentation
  • Develops user stories
  • Facilitates discovery sessions and prioritization exercises with both internal and external teams
  • Manages a backlog and prioritizes it based on business requirements and goals
  • Conduct UX audits, stakeholder interviews, competitive analysis, content auditing, and research, in order to assimilate, analyze, and synthesize key insights
  • Plan, design, and facilitate user testing (UserTesting.com, on premises, etc.)
  • Review and analyze data from various measurement tools (Google Analytics, Mixpanel, Full Story, Hotjar, etc.), setting KPIs to measure project success in order to provide insights on user behavior

What You’ll Bring

  • 3+ years of professional experience in web, mobile, and/or application design 
  • Knowledge about information architecture, UI design, interaction design, content planning, and functional specifications is a must
  • Proven history of using research/data to provide insights in layout and design, and creating high fidelity wireframes and interaction design concepts to demonstrate structure and requirements
  • An interest and understanding of best practices for a variety of technologies including emerging markets: mobile, desktop, VR, smart home, etc.
  • Ability to use industry standard prototyping tools (Axure, Balsamiq, Sketch, Marvel, InVision, etc.) and UI design tools (Adobe Illustrator, Sketch, Figma, Invision Studio, etc.) is a must
  • Proven history of facilitating Discovery Meetings, Needs Analysis, Scope Prioritization exercises with clients
  • Experience having sprint planning, scope prioritization exercises and negotiations with internal teams, including UX, Content, UI, Technology
